This was my Halloween...
After a particularly sleepy sleepover, my mother, being the thoughtful dear that she is, purchased these rather fetching pumpkin-shaped gingerbreads from the most almighty supermarket on the planet - Tesco.
Joe instantly sprung from his sleepy idle state and set to work excitedly examining them. I dragged my undead self into the kitchen and set to work complaining about the icing.
Greatful as I was, I found it kinda bizarre how there was no orange or black icing. I mean who designs these things? They should be sacked; or at least moved to the birthday cake section. I mean what kinda pussy colours are red and yellow? This is HALLOWEEN, buddy. I guess red came in handy for 'blood', anyhow.
We each created two of these ghoulishly delicious cookies, using a selection of not-quite Smarties, and the aforementioned icing.

Here they are in all their blurry glory. Clearly I was so excited to eat them that my camera work was a bit shaky, which is a shame because we spent a good 3 or 4 minutes creating that display.

This is my favourite. Even though Joe's gripping skills failed him, and this poor guy got personal with the kitchen floor. That's a pretty deep gash right there, but nothing a few stitches couldn't fix. Unfortunately the head wounds couldn't be repaired, as the dog moved in for the kill before the pieces could be recovered.
